How This Policy Applies

This policy is divided into three parts. Part One, General, applies to everyone who visits this website or buys anything from me. Part Two applies only to people who purchase a Your Home Chart reading. Part Three applies only to people who apply for or take part in Alpha Within.

If you have not purchased a product, the sections covering that product do not apply to you.

The version of this policy in force at the time of your purchase is the version that governs that transaction. Each part carries its own revision date at the top of that section.

The Legal Basis for Processing

I process personal information on three different legal bases, depending on what the information is and what it is used for.

Performance of a contract

When you buy something from me, I need to use your name, email address and order details to deliver it and to maintain records of our transaction. This processing is necessary to fulfil our contract. It does not require your separate consent.

This basis covers: name, email address, order details, delivery of the product, and client records for an active engagement.

Consent

I rely on consent for the following:

• Birth data (date, time and place of birth), because this is sensitive personal information
• Third-party birth details, where you submit birth information for another person
• Session recordings in Alpha Within
• Any marketing communications

Where I ask for consent, I do so through a separate, clearly labelled step. Consent must be freely given, specific and informed. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of any processing already carried out before you withdrew.

Legitimate interests

I keep records of completed orders and finished client work so that I can answer follow-up questions and provide continuity if you return. Retention periods differ by product and are set out in the relevant part of this policy. This is a proportionate use of your data and does not override your rights.

International Transfers

Some of the processors I use are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the EEA, that transfer is made under the safeguards available in law, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

The processors based outside the EEA are:

• Anthropic (United States), used to generate readings for Your Home Chart
• Square (United States), used for payment processing for Your Home Chart
• Google (United States), used for video calls and file storage in Alpha Within
• Meta (United States), WhatsApp is used for messaging between sessions in Alpha Within
• Stripe (United States), used for payment processing in Alpha Within

How I Keep Your Data Secure

I work alone. No staff and no contractors have access to your data.

My devices are password protected. Client files are held in private folders that are not shared with anyone.

Client files and session recordings are stored on an encrypted external drive in a private folder that only I can access.

I do not send sensitive personal information, such as birth data or session recordings, by email or through unencrypted file transfer.

Cookies

This website and the checkout platform are built on Aisteroid. Aisteroid sets cookies to make the checkout function. These include strictly necessary cookies required for the purchase process to work.

Analytics cookies may also be set. These track general site behaviour and do not identify you personally.

A fuller cookie notice will follow. If you want to know which cookies are active on a specific page, you can inspect them in your browser settings.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data I hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing
• Request restriction of processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. I will respond within 30 days.

If you believe I have handled your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In France, that is the CNIL at cnil.fr.

Changes to This Policy

If I make significant changes to how I handle your data, I will update this page and revise the revision date at the top of the relevant section. I will not change the legal basis on which I process your data without asking for your consent again where consent is required.

If you are part way through an Alpha Within engagement when a significant change is made, I will notify you by email before the change takes effect.

What I Collect

When you purchase a Your Home Chart reading, you provide:

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Date of birth
• Time of birth
• Place of birth
• Gender at birth

Each order can include readings for up to five people in total. If you are ordering for others as well as yourself, you also provide the following for each additional person: first name, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth.

Birth data (date, time and place of birth) is sensitive personal information. It is collected solely because it is necessary to calculate the astrological chart that each reading is based on. Without it, the reading cannot be produced.

Why I Collect It

To generate your reading

Your birth data is entered into Astro.com to produce chart data. That chart data, together with your first name, is passed to Claude AI, made by Anthropic, to generate your written reading. I review every reading before it is sent.

Birth data is used only to produce your reading for that specific order. It is not used for any other purpose, shared for any other reason, or retained beyond what is needed to complete and support your order.

To deliver your reading

Your email address is used to send you the finished reading. In standard circumstances, delivery takes place within 72 business hours of receiving your completed order. Orders of three or more readings may take longer.

For customer service

Your email address may be used to contact you about your order, for example if I have a question about your details or if there is a delay.

Consent for Birth Data

Because birth data is sensitive personal information, I ask for consent in two separate steps.

Before you submit your birth details, you are asked to tick a checkbox confirming that you understand this information is sensitive personal data and that you consent to it being collected and used solely to generate your Your Home Chart reading.

Where you are submitting birth details for another person, you are asked to tick a separate checkbox confirming that you have that person's permission to share their information for the purpose of generating their reading. By ticking that box, you confirm that consent has been obtained. It is your responsibility to have that permission in place before submitting anyone else's data.

How AI Is Used

Your date of birth, time of birth, place of birth and gender at birth are entered into Astro.com to produce your astrological birth chart data. That chart data, together with your first name, is then passed to Claude AI, made by Anthropic, to generate the written text of your reading. I review every reading before it is sent.

This use of AI applies to Your Home Chart only. Alpha Within works differently. See Part Three: Alpha Within for details.

Third Parties

Aisteroid (aisteroid.ai) handles the checkout and stores your order information. It is the CRM platform through which your purchase is processed.

Square processes your payment. Your payment details are handled directly by Square and are not stored by me.

Astro.com is used to calculate your astrological birth chart from the birth data you provide. The data is entered manually and is not stored on my end beyond what is needed to complete your reading.

Anthropic (Claude AI) receives your chart data and first name to generate the written text of your reading. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle data passed through their API. You can read it at anthropic.com/privacy.

How Long I Keep It

I retain your personal information for 12 months after your purchase. This gives me time to respond to any follow-up questions about your reading. After 12 months, your data is deleted.

If you request deletion before that point, I will delete your data within 30 days.

Age

Your Home Chart is intended for people aged 18 and over. If a reading is being ordered for someone under 18, a parent or guardian must place the order and provide consent on their behalf, including consent to the processing of that person's birth details.

What This Part Covers

Alpha Within is a private one-to-one mentorship, available in three-month and six-month formats, delivered online and by application only. This part of the privacy policy applies to anyone who applies for or takes part in the programme.

Walkthrough videos and photos

A walkthrough video of your home, filmed on your phone, and photos where relevant. Six-month clients film a second walkthrough at the mid point of the programme.

Session recordings

Where you have given consent to recording, sessions are recorded. See AW 4.

Notes, summaries and voice messages

My own written notes from sessions, written session summaries, and voice messages sent between sessions.

Special Category Data

Sessions concern personal life, home and identity. In the course of a session, a client may disclose information about health, family circumstances, religion or beliefs, or sexuality. Some of that information is special category data under Article 9 of the GDPR.

Where special category data arises, the legal basis for processing it is explicit consent. That consent is given separately, in the recording and data consent document signed before the first session.

Special category data is never processed for any purpose beyond the client's own work in the programme.

Recording and Consent

Sessions are recorded so that I can write accurate summaries and pick up the thread if a client returns. Recording is optional.

Consent to recording is given separately and in writing before the first session. It can be declined. It can be withdrawn at any time. Declining recording changes nothing else about the programme. Where recording is declined, I take written notes in the session instead.

How AI Is Used, and How It Is Not

AI assists my drafting of written session summaries. It works only from notes I have written myself. The only identifying detail I include is the client's first name.

The tools I use for this drafting assistance are Tactic.io, Claude AI, and ChatGPT. In each case, the input is notes I have written myself. The only identifying detail included is the client's first name.

• Session recordings are never sent to any AI tool.
• Walkthrough videos and photos are never sent to any AI tool.
• Nothing said in a session is passed on word for word.
• Everything produced for a client is written and reviewed by me.

Third Parties

Aisteroid

Aisteroid (aisteroid.ai) handles the application form, CRM and client records.

Google

Google Meet is used for video calls. Session recordings save to Google Drive by default before I move them to local encrypted storage. Google Drive is also used for the walkthrough video and photo upload link.

WhatsApp (Meta)

WhatsApp is used for voice messages between sessions, and occasionally for a video call when a client wants to show me something in their home. Content is end-to-end encrypted. Metadata, including who is messaging whom and when, is processed by Meta.

Apple

Where sessions are recorded using the iPhone Voice Memos app, Apple may be a processor depending on whether iCloud sync is enabled.

iCloud sync is disabled for Voice Memos. Recordings remain on the device only and are not processed by Apple as a cloud service.

Stripe

Stripe processes instalment and full payments. Payment details are handled directly by Stripe and are not stored by me.

Bank transfer

Where payment is made by bank transfer, my bank processes the transaction.

AI drafting tools

Tactic.io, Claude AI, and ChatGPT are used to assist with drafting written session summaries. See AW 5 for what these tools do and do not receive.

Where It Is Stored

Walkthrough videos, photos and session recordings are held on encrypted local storage in a private folder that only I can open. The external drive used for this storage is encrypted. Videos and photos are shared through a private upload link rather than by email or public file transfer.

How Long I Keep It

I keep your information for as long as you are a client, and for three years after our last contact. If you return, the three-year period starts again from the new date of last contact.

This applies to notes, summaries, space readings, walkthrough videos, photos and session recordings.

At the end of that period, everything is deleted. If you request deletion before that point, I will delete it within 30 days. No reason is needed.

Confidentiality

Nothing from sessions, homes or personal circumstances is shared with anyone.

Nothing is used in marketing, in example materials, or in any other public-facing content.

Testimonials are published only with your prior approval. First names are used only with your approval. Some names are changed to protect privacy.

Age and Capacity

Alpha Within is for people aged 18 and over who have capacity to enter a contract. There is no exception for parental consent, unlike Your Home Chart.
